Question: Does the park accept pets?

 

 

Yes, polite pets are always welcome. Please note that animals must be on a leash, quiet and always attended.

 

 

Questions: What types of RV site pads does Hickory Point RV Park have?

 

 

Our sites are generally asphalt with a seashell overlay. They are designed to accommodate modern, full size motorhomes and RVs, with minimal impact on our environment. All are full hookup with on site water, electric and waste connections.

 

 

 

Question: Are there laundry facilities?

 

 

Yes, we have a charming laundry room with state of the art Speed Queen equipment. There’s even an outdoor area for air drying laundry in the beautiful Florida sun.

 

 

Question: Are picnic tables available?

 

 

Yes, we have picnic tables at each site and an additional picnic area under the shade trees by the waterfront.

 

 

 

Question: Can we use our BBQ grill on site?

 

 

Yes, please bring your grill. We love the smell of fabulous food and the sound of new friends visiting in the early evenings.

 

 

Question: What category of sites are available?

 

 

Hickory Point has 4 categories of sites, Premium Water View, Spacious Pull Through, Premium and Value Sites. There are sites for all tastes and budgets.

 

 

Question: Can the park accommodate larger RVs?

 

 

Absolutely yes!! Larger sites are very popular, so call early to reserve yours.

 

 

Question: Is there a storage area available for towed equipment and boats?

 

 

Yes, and there is a nominal charge depending on the size of the items to be stored. We encourage guests to keep their RV site uncluttered. So please, make use of our storage area.

 

 

Question: Is there a pool?

 

 

Not yet, a pool is planned for our soon-to- be expansion. Most guests enjoy the convenient walk to Anclote Park, where a charming sandy beach is available for swimming.

 

 

Question: How far is it to the famous Tarpon Springs Sponge Docks?

 

 

It depends on your type of travel. If you are a bird, it’s about 3 minutes. Riding in a vehicle . . . you would travel along the shore of the river, cross the bridge and be there in 10 minutes. Learn more about Tarpon Springs in this post (click here).

 

 

Question: Are there any restaurants nearby?

 

 

Yes, Miss Vicky’s is a well-loved, waterfront, casual dining experience. Plan to enjoy the 10 minute walk and don’t miss it! Most evenings have live music and all evenings have sunsets.

 

 

Question: Where is the closest fishing?

 

 

The avid anglers can fish from our docks, seawall and in some cases, from their waterfront RV site. Watch the tide, begin early and enjoy your success!
