- Anclote Key Preserve State Park – An unspoiled retreat located just three miles off Florida’s Gulf coast. Comprising four pristine islands, the 11,773-acre park is accessible exclusively by ferry or private boat, adding to its secluded charm.
- Anclote Key River Park –Park featuring a 300-foot beach, a boat launch, designated fishing areas & a pavilion for picnics.
- Caladesi Island – One of the few untouched islands along the Gulf Coast, Caladesi Island State Park is accessible only by boat, but is worth the extra effort.
- Clearwater Beach – Located at the west end of Gulf-to-Bay Boulevard, or State Road 60. Sugar-white sands, warm Gulf of Mexico waters and fiery sunsets are just a few of the things to expect from a trip to Clearwater Beach.
- Honeymoon Island – One of Florida’s best-loved state parks, Honeymoon Island has more than four miles of beach to explore along with a three-mile trail through one of the last remaining virgin slash pine forests.
- Howard Park Beach – 155 acres of park and beach located off the Gulf of America in Tarpon Springs. There is a 1-mile causeway from the park to the white sandy beach for swimming and sunsets. This park provides homes to wildlife including eagles, gopher tortoises and fox squirrels.
- Sunset Beach – A peaceful 11-acre spot tucked away at the end of Gulf Road. Known for its calm Gulf waters, soft sands, and stunning sunset views, it’s a favorite among locals for relaxing, swimming, or picnicking. The beach offers amenities like picnic shelters, restrooms, a boat ramp, and volleyball courts—plus occasional live music events. It’s a perfect low-key getaway to unwind and watch the sun dip into the Gulf.
